There is a particularly quiet and charming place in Yburg - Rose Garden on south side of G-6. There is a large green meadow and lush trees, and even in heat it seems shady. It is said that many foreigners like to camp here, perhaps because it is green, quiet, clean and cool. Walking along road here, you will feel some intimate and peaceful feeling, completely merging with nature. From afar you can see blue sky, white clouds, birds flying high in sky, green eyes nearby ... Grass, trees, pavilions, benches just right. There are few tourists around, there is no noise at all, and there is a breeze that makes people feel refreshed and refreshed, making people feel stagnant and they want to just sit and look around, quietly in a daze. What a wonderful place.
Rose Garden
Leaving Ibah, we headed straight for Lahore along highway. Lahore, a large city in central Pakistan, is located on outskirts of Faisalabad, city where we live, and borders India. It is an ancient city and an important industrial city of Pakistan. Compared to Karachi to south and Baisha to south, west of Wa District is much more stable. Although I often visit this city for work, I have never had time or mood to get to know it.
Lahore
With 2000 years of history, Lahore is seat of Mughal dynasty. It has charm of ancient culture and is a world historical and cultural heritage. The locals said: "If a Pakistani has not been to Lahore, his life is in vain. This is soul of Pakistan."
Children of Lahore
Lahore, famous Lahore Fort, is really majestic, similar to our Forbidden City. The entire castle is almost 400 meters long from east to west and over 300 meters wide from north to south and is built of dark red stones. According to reports, castle was first built in 1021 AD during Ghazni Dynasty, when it was just a clay military fortress. In 1566 AD, in order to resist invasion of external enemies during powerful period of Mughal dynasty, Emperor Akbar built a brick and stone fortress surrounded by high walls after destruction of old city. It is even more magnificent and spectacular, which makes it only building in Pakistan , fully reflecting hundreds of years of architectural history from Ghazni dynasty to Mughal dynasty. Today, although many of glorious buildings have long since disappeared after hundreds of years of wind and rain erosion and fencing disaster, technical characteristics and part of structure of castle have survived to this day, which can be seen. Especially mirrored palace inside, although it now looks dilapidated and unfinished, it is quite possible to imagine beauty of year from existing buildings.
Lahore Fort
According to information, Palace of Mirrors inside Lahore Fort also has a touching and sad love story. Then Shah Jahan and his princess Taj lived and died together and were inseparable. One night, Taj looked at magnificent night sky on palace wall of ancient castle and emotionally told Shah Jahan how she wished she had an amazing sleeping palace, even when she lay on bed she could wake up. when she opened her eyes, she saw stars in sky. Therefore, Shah Jahan ordered skilled craftsmen from all over country to build a palace like Mirror Palace for Taj at Lahore Fort. But it is a pity that Palace of Mirrors was completed in 1631, but Taj, unfortunately, died in present-day India a year earlier and could not live in this well-built palace until his death. Shah Jahan, who lost his beloved concubine, was devastated and did not think about food or drink. To express his memory to her, he built Taj Mahal nearby for her. Thus, we can say that Taj Mahal is current version of Mirror Palace in Old Fort of Lahore, and these two buildings have a lot in common.
Mirror Palace
Walking around castle, looking at monuments in front of you, thinking about these touching stories, you are in deep shock from them. Remembering those days, how magnificent those buildings were, how breathtaking those scenes were, and you can imagine glory of Mughal dynasty at its peak: guards stood on both sides with spears in their hands, springs gushed in the courtyard, and musicians sat, cross-legged, melodious music flowed continuously, and it was peaceful.
Corner of Lahore Castle
It's a pity that in Lahore I didn't have time to go to Waka to watch very interesting flag-lowering retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan.
