    1. Varna

    Varna is a Bulgarian favorite place where locals bask in sun in summer, they fly away from Sofia and Plovdiv in summer, not only you are usually a resort town on edge of Black Sea. With its long and fascinating history, dilapidated Roman baths, and exquisite Orthodox architecture (such as magnificent Basilica of Assumption), city has attracted history enthusiasts, culture vultures, and sun lovers.

    Of course, beach here is still beautiful. The long promenade is full of variety of fish restaurants and cocktail bars. Their food attracts tourists and live clubs fill beach with laughter after dark.

    2. Tarnovo

    The fabulous Royal City rises high on edge of towering foothills of northern Bulgaria's mountains. The city, bisected by S-bend of Yantra River, is breathtaking, with terracotta rooftop terraces looming over waterway below.

    The beautiful cobbled streets and half-timbered houses of this old town are typical examples of what is now called Tarnovo School. The Tarnovo school was developed during rise of Second Bulgarian Kingdom in Middle Ages.

    3. Sofia

    Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Sofia, Bulgaria

    The huge capital of Bulgaria is a patchwork of past. Close to city center and ancient ruins of fortress of Serdika and Roman-Byzantine church of St. George, which has dominated city for centuries.

    4. Jaravna

    5. Burgas

    Burgas is one of best gates to southern regions of Black Sea coast. The buildings here are mostly modern in Art Deco style, and parks on seafront are well maintained.
