5. Luberon
If you want to experience south of France, away from complexities of French society, Luberon is place for you. A haven of French society, it is frequented by many foreign tourists during summer months as a real life getaway. This area of central Provence has become a tourist attraction since Peter Meil published his book on life in Provence. With dense forests, lavender fields, farmers' markets and colorful houses, you'll soon see why Luberon is such a tourist attraction.
4. Mont Saint-Michel
The rocky island of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, off northwest coast of France, is home to extensive mud flats and some of strongest surf in Europe.
This tidal island is one of France's most popular tourist attractions. The constructions of medieval buildings seem to be piled on top of each other and crowned with star of abbey of Mont Saint-Michel. This majestic monastery was built in 708 AD by monks of that time in honor of Archangel-Bishop Michael Avranches.
3. Dordogne
There is simply no time to visit in picturesque Dordogne department in southwest France unless you have weeks or months to spare. There is plenty to see and do here, from postcard-worthy villages and castles to a well-preserved hilltop castle: Beynac Castle.
The Dordogne River flows through it, and scenery is also magnificent. The Dordogne is also home to best collection of prehistoric cave art in France. The walls of Lascaux are dominated by animals. The bad news is that it is now temporarily closed to public, but a replica can be visited.
2. French Riviera
The French Riviera (Côte d'Azur) on French Mediterranean coast is a holiday destination for wealthy and famous tourists. There is no official border, but it is generally considered to stretch from border with Italy in east to Saint-Tropez, Hyères, Toulon or Cassis in west.
While Riviera is known for its glamour, Saint-Tropez, Monaco or Cannes, there are many other lesser-known sights such as villages of Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence, Grasse perfume factories and much more. The Riviera has inspired many famous artists, including Picasso, many of whose works are exhibited in local museums and galleries.
Despite being one of northernmost coastal regions in entire Mediterranean, it enjoys a pleasantly warm climate all year round.

Paris is known as Capital of Fashion, home to some of world's best designer brands, including YSL, Lancôme, L'Oreal and Dior. The city offers a wide variety of shopping options, from malls to souks, boutiques, flea markets and more.
The best and cheapest way to get around Paris is on foot and then take convenient metro system called Métro.
